Welcoming a new baby into the world is one of the most magical, meaningful, and fleeting times in a family’s life.
As your photographer, my wish is to preserve the tiny details, quiet connections, and emotions of these early days so you can return to them for years to come. That is what I love most about photography—it has the power to bring us back to a moment and help us remember exactly how it felt.
Your newborn session takes place in the comfort of your own home. I bring professional lighting, wraps, outfits, props, and everything needed to create soft, polished, studio-style portraits without asking you to travel with your baby. Your home does not need to be large or filled with natural light; I prepare the small space we need and guide you gently throughout the session.
The ideal time to photograph a newborn is between 7 and 14 days old, so I recommend booking as soon as you know your due date. We will reserve a tentative date based on your due date and adjust it once your baby arrives.
Newborn photography is a specialized art that requires patience, experience, and close attention to safety. Every session is carefully paced around your baby’s needs, with plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and cuddling.
I also welcome meaningful personal items you would like to include. Together, we will thoughtfully plan your session and create a gallery that reflects your family, your style, and the memories you hope to preserve.
I am truly honored that you are considering me to photograph this once-in-a-lifetime chapter. It would be a privilege to create your baby’s first portraits and preserve these precious beginnings for your family.

I have almost ten years of experience photographing newborns in my studio and in clients’ homes, as well as over two years of experience at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center, where I received professional training in the safe handling and care of newborns.
I have also completed both in-person and online workshops with leading newborn photographers and educators, including Kelly Brown, Rachel Vanoven, Erin Tole, Russ Jackson, and Sandra Hill.
Newborn sessions are very time-sensitive, as there is a relatively short window in which these photographs are best taken. I typically schedule newborn sessions within 7–14 days after the baby is born.
The best time to book is four to six months before your due date to ensure availability. I will reserve a tentative session date based on your due date and adjust it if your baby arrives earlier or later than expected. For this reason, I never fully book every week, allowing enough flexibility to accommodate all of my newborn clients.
Newborn sessions are ideally scheduled within the first two weeks of your baby’s life. However, I understand that this timing may not always be possible. I am often able to photograph older newborns, although these sessions may require additional time and a slightly different approach.
Please contact me to discuss availability. I will always do my best to accommodate your family and create beautiful images of your baby at any stage.
Newborn sessions require patience and plenty of time. I never rush, as your baby’s comfort and your well-being are always my priorities. Every baby is different—some feed quickly, while others need more time to settle, feed, or fall asleep.
Most newborn sessions last between two and three hours, although occasionally up to four hours may be needed. Please keep this in mind when planning your day and allow plenty of time so the session can remain calm and relaxed.
I provide a carefully selected collection of props, wraps, and outfits for your baby, so there is no need to bring anything. However, if you have a meaningful or special item you would like included in the session, I will be happy to incorporate it.
If this pose is important to you, we can certainly attempt it. However, every baby is different, and not every newborn will be comfortable in every position. I carefully observe your baby throughout the session and will never force a pose if your baby shows any signs of discomfort or resistance.
The froggy pose requires constant support and is created as a composite image. A parent or assistant supports the baby’s head and body at all times, and the final photograph is produced by combining multiple images during editing.
Yes, absolutely. My goal is to create the gallery you have always dreamed of. If you share an image or idea that inspires you, I will be happy to recreate a similar look whenever possible, while adapting it to your baby, your family, and my photographic style.
